A/C Compressor Clicking.

I have a 1984 Sedan DeVille and when I rev the engine I hear a clicking noise coming from the compressor. Is this normal or is it going out. It turns on and blows the air and everything.

Compressor should not cycle, a/c may a little slow and cycling switch is kicking it in and out. Poor connections could also cause compressor to cycle

So you think that clicking noise is it cycling on and off!

Turn a/c off , control head off lamp on, and drive it / rev it. Is noise still there?

What do you mean by this: control head off lamp on? I do drive with the A/C off and it still makes that noise.

Well its not a/c, What it is? no clue. Noise will require seeing the car to figure out.
