my baby was hit parked in front of my house. she is a 99 deville and i was unsure if it had heated mirrors or not. i ordered a mirror same color from a junk yard of a 98 deville with heated mirrors.mirror matched ok not perfect but only one of the plugs plugged in to the car. the power part works but the other plug i assume is the heated mirror does not fit together. the 99 is a 2 wire plug and the 98 is 6 wires.below are pics of what i have. can i cut plug off new mirrir and make it work or does it have to be mirror off a 99?

so i think i figured part of the problem out. the mirror off the 98 has a auto dem
feature and is yellow color. it has a 6 pin connector. mine only has 2 wires for the defrost.



can anyone tell me what 2 wires out of the 6 pin need to be connected to my 2 pin connected to make defrost work?

thanks for the reply but not sure you understood my question. the mirror is not broken but off a different vehicle that had auto dem. mine does not so the plug on the car side has 2 wires and the plug on the mirror side has 6
