2005 Deville 6 CD changer help
 

I purchased a 6 CD changer for my 2005 Deville and meant to install it, but got busy and forgot about it. Long story short, had to replace the glove box and low and behold the harness was right there ready for the player. So I figured I could just plug it in and it would work. The cable went right in and the radio recognizes the player but it will not play. I thought that it must be the unit so I picked up another one. Now both units act the same and will not play through the stereo.

It has a serius, but it is not activated. Could this be the problem?
