2004 base deville
I just bought a 2004 base Deville with comfort convenience package. I was wondering if a can get the gps installed on my non-bose system. Or if its possible to add the night vision system. I can't seem to find either of these items on the internet or even the part numbers. Does anyone know if i can upgrade my base Deville with some more bells and whistles??????

RE: 2004 base deville
Hey Dave,
I own a 04 base Deville as well. Had it for about a year now. What comes with the comfort and covenience pkg? I don't have a gps, but wouldn't be better to keep the gps portable? Also, I heaven't heard anyone really rave over night vision. Anyway, enjoy your new ride, mine has been great! jasper |
RE: 2004 base deville
To be honest. You are better off buying the aftermarket double din or single din cd/dvd/am/fm/ipod set up.
If you have the bose system then you need a factory amplifier bypass harness. Metra & pac carry this. It keeps your complete bose system working with an aftermarket radio. If you have steering wheel control, pay for onstar you need another module. You need a installation kit also.If you have the door chime you need module cause the door chime s built into the stock radio. If you do not care about the door chime, onstar, steering contol then dont get the modules. The aftermarket radio can do 15 x more cool stuff than the store am/fm/cd/navigation. You will not spend much more either. alpine iva w205 - nav is portable and goes into the unit kenwood ddx8019 or ddx7019 - nav separate |
