NADA

Kelly Blue Book

The first is what the banks use.
Kbb is what most dealers use.

1979 oops, i didn't pay attention to the year. Guess those won't help.

And old friend once told me " its worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it."

Thats what eBay is all about.

In case you arent familiar with ebay (i.e. live in a cave) there are a few 79 caddys, though not necessarily the D'Marchand (people on ebay arent always that specific), and the prices range from a buy it now price of $25,000 for an eldorado to a $200 Seville with unlisted mileage. One site i found that is occasionally helpful to find going rates on older cars is http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com. in fact, they have a beautiful 79 Deville on there right now for $3,000.
