01' Upgrades

I currently own a 2001 Deville and I plan on owning it until it dies. I absolutely love it, but as it is an 01', it is lacking in some of the features of more recent luxury vehicles. I would love to throw some money into it to enhance the elegance of an already amazing vehicle. I already plan on swapping out most exterior trim and handles for stainless, adding some nicer LED headlights, swapping the grill and rims, tinting the windows, and adding more wood trim in the interior. But I had some other ideas I wanted to ask here.

First, would it be possible to completely remove the current stereo system and put in a better aftermarket system or even the Bose? And second, would it be possible to remove the center console and put in an in-dash system like the Cue found in the current Cadillac models?

If anybody can provide answers to my questions, I'd be very appreciative. My rear deck sub is blown out so I really would like to know about the stereo system.

Your budget will dictate the mods , you need to plan on a large one

Money isn't really my concern. I've got that worked out. I'm more wondering the plausibility of the work I'd like done. And if anybody could suggest any alternatives that would be great too.

You won't be able to install the CUE system in the 2001 (I drive a 2002 Deville by the way). But, going to many aftermarket radio sellers, you may be able to find a 1.5 DIN radio/Navigation that will fit in the slot. You can install a better Cadillac radio, but you would need to upgrade other hardware like the antennas.

Since your OnStar died in 2004, you can install BlueStar, which turns the old OnStar system into a Bluetooth system.
