Service Traction light always coming on
 

2 weeks ago car engine did a pause, service traction and check engine light came on. When turned car off, service traction light was out, but check engine light was on. Took to my regular shop. Diagnosed as accelerator position sensor. Replaced that, and for 10 days was fine. Now situation is happening again, almost every time I drive a few miles after starting a trip. Any ideas ?

Thanks for the input, but mine is quirkier. Tech cleaned the throttle body as the code was coming up for accel. A few days after he did this the situation happened again. But now I have had no trouble in past week. My tech did find a TSB on some kind of seal to keep water away from wiring may be problem. The day came back outside temp was over 90 with high humidity. After that day temps stayed in mid 80s, and low humidity. Today we are having rain all day, so will see if situation now occurs. Tech wants to be 100% sure of problem. Parts are not that expensive, but time to get at seals and wiring will run into money.
