RWD and stabilitrak on snowy hills

I am thinking about getting a RWD drive CTS. I was wondering how good the RWD stabilitrak performs on snowy hills of 10% or so. I saw this Jaguar, but this is a front wheel drive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3m24bjkfg0 I also came across this http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=104736, but they don't mention whether it's RWD or AWD.

I cannot seem to justify spending extra for the AWD for the once or twice a month that I may need it in the northeast. Not to mention I have some flexibility to work from home on those days. I know how to drive in the snow up hills, but when you have a car in front of you creeping up a hill, it's impossible without any momemtum.
