Noise comming from front wheels

Friends got an 07' CTS w/ FE5 (68k) and had new rotors put on and ever since there is a rattling noise comming from the front wheels when he hits bumps. like somethings loose. no noise when brakes are applyed. took it back to where the work was done and told him he needed new calipers. They grease the caliper pin and its quite for a day or so. any ideas?? new pin?? pin seals??

well .. the only thing i'm thinking ( which probably won't help you ) , is that on my '04 , the calipers .. or rotors i forget .. had gotten rust on them and when you went to stop it sounded like a transport truck .

I am not expert but I would think its the pads rattling. I had a similar problem with my 2005 but with the factory brakes. The had a fix kits for it that replaced some clips etc that held the pads in place.
