New to Forum couple questions
 

Hello I just purchased our first Cadilac 03 CTS for my wife.We purchased it from a private seller it has 53,000 miles I got him down to $15500 go deal or not? great condition adult owed non smoker,my main question is I wanted to purchase an extended warranty but the lady I spoke with at the dealership it was purchased at originally said GM will not allow her to sell me a extended warranty is this true?Thanks

sonstech, 30+ years in a GM dealership and i would... they may have to run it through a their certified program first. (check it out) then they can sell you a warranty...... you'll find GMPP is big, BIG bucks, but no questions asked if there is a problem, plus any GM dealership in the Country will honored it... might not like, or want to work on a Cadillac, if not a Cadillac store.... have you looked into any other warranties? when i bought my 99sts i bought a Vehicle One Warranty...2/24 cost me $1700.00 dealer cost, and the sts had 49001 miles on it....so....expect to pay!

as far as the price you paid........................... are you happy.................thats all that counts.............

Thank You for the information highly appreciated As far as price we are happy just wanted to know if I got a good deal.Funny story the day after we picked up the car there was a 03 CTS with same miles good condition on Craigslist.com less than 5 miles from are house he was only asking 13900 my buddy called him he said he just wanted to get rid of the car fast.I guess alot of dealerships were calling him.Well it was silver with grey interior my wife loves her diamond white with tan interior so all is good.Thanks again
