Looking to buy....if you could do it again, would you?

Hey guys,
I'm sure that this question has been asked before but I'm in a bit of a rush...So, if you could do it all over again, would you buy a CTS? I mean for the money it seems like a great value. But I'm worried about down the road and how a GM made car will stand up to repairs and faults. Seriously tho guys, egos aside is it worth it? At the moment I'm looking at a run of cars. G35's (2nd choice after the CTS), Audi A4, IS300 and the likes. But the sheer style and grace and potential of the CTS has gripped me. But, with my last purchase I jumped too quickly and without asking guys that ACTUALLY OWN one of the vehicles that I'm curious about.

At what point do they start to break down. Or has there been a point or instance of this yet? I'm looking at something along the lines of a 2003 CTS w/ everything...sport package etc. What should I expect from this car? Is it worth buying over the others? And MOST importantly should I expect it to break after 80k or RIGHT after I sign for it! lol C'mon now...we all believe in Murphy's Law!

So in short, if you guys wouldn't mind sharing your experience and thoughts I'd be very much obliged.

THanks in advance,

Tyson

IS300 .... hmmmmm
If the CTS has 8 pistions then i would take it over a lexus.
The others i would pass on, but that Lexus would be tempting.

I just passed my IS300 on to my son and bought myself the CTS Sport. Seriously I loved my IS300 but this CTS is really a much better car.

:)At the time I purchased: yes. Now, well I'd look around at what my options are and then decide. Too many new and hot cars about to be released, and I want to make the correct decision by trying out all those I am interested in purchasing. Ford has just upped it warranty, I expect GM to do the same. Toyota/Lexus throws massive brainpower behind their product, and they are becoming tougher to beat because they have invested the time, money, and hired the skill sets necessary to make a very successful product. People can say what they may, but Toyota/Lexus has rightly earned their reputation. There was once a time were America earned its reputation too. Now, so many Americans think they are "entitled" to it...so much for hard work and hitting the books to get ahead.[&o]

This post was meant to be for the initial question, and not directly to mjdart. Sorry.
