Fuel gauge stop working
 

i have a 2003 cts and my fuel gauge stop working, also my center console that tells me mpg, gallons used, etc does not read anything that has to do with fuel.. which part has to deal with directly fixing this problem, the fuel sensor, or the fuel sending unit?
