Front and rear wheel hub assembly, are they the same? (2.8 Caddy CTS)
 

Hey guys, new to the forum. I am asking for a friend who owns a:

2008 Cadillac CTS, 2.8 L Engine

He needs to replace the rear wheel hub, and we noticed they're 3 times as more expensive as the front wheel hubs (in our country). Our questions are:

1. Are they the same? I've been looking at online parts store in the US and it seems they're selling them as universal (front and back).

2. Where would be the best place to buy them?

3. Is it possible just to replace the magnetic wheel on the hub? Or do I need to order the whole thing?


This is a 2.8 engine, can't find it anywhere on the US based part stores. Did Cadillac release a smaller engine for the EU market?
