CTS-V Owner chiming in

Name is John.
Just got a CTS-V 05 Black

I have been on the Corvette Forum for a few years, under "Bowtie8" Have been drag racing my 91 since 1997

I plan on putting a few mods onto the V in the next year.

The biggys are Headers and Exhaust, short shifter, an upgrade the rear, the wheel hop is terrible.

I may do heads & Cam one day, just to get her in the high 11's but right now I am collecting Turbo Parts for the Vette, so one thing at a time.

I look forward to meeting some of you and I plan on road coarsing the car next summer. Here in Michigan, in Howell, about 1 hr west of Detroit, the Weather is Cold and Rainy. Actually had plans on taking the Vette down to Milan today to race, before the Snow flys.

Best
John

Good to see another "V" owner in here. They didn't give us our own section yet so I guess we comingle until then.

Say John, do you ever race in IL? I like the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet and Blackhawk Farms to name a few. We have great parking lot race events here as well.

RE: CTS-V Owner chiming in

I've had my vette down at Route 66 1/4 mile a few times, but nothing this past year.
My job has been dipping into my racing hobby keeps me more local spur of the moment type racing. I live abt 1hr west of Detroit, so I am usually using Milan Dragway or Stanton Dragway.

I plan on taking the CTS on a road coarse next summer.
took my dads C5 this summer at it was great! fun

John
