cts ghost electronics ?
 

I have 2008 cts that I purchased 2 years ago. 2 weeks ago started some ghost electronic issues. This does not happen all the time, but often enough to be annoying. When turn on radio climate system comes on. Fan will go to high, temp starts to climb to 90. Can't turn radio off, can't make temp go back down, or turn climate system off. After a few mins. the radio will start going between am to fm. Soon I can get temp to go down, but soon as take finger off control, goes right back up. I push climate system off, soon as finger removed, it comes back on. Eventually everything settles, all work normal, and no problems again during day. Things may be great for about 3 days, then this all happens again.

I have had the same thing from time to time to some extent. The LCD will go black and I can't control the radio.
I can put the window down in the back from the driver control but not up. The seats never stay where I set them. Stuff like that. The deal suggested it could be the body control module but I haven't had time to take it back for them to keep it for a day.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate. Have not had this situation happen again in over 2 weeks now, all is fine. My son does auto detailing and did my car a day or 2 before this started. My mechanic thinks that whatever chemical he used to clean dashboard, some mist may have gotten into dash and reacted with contacts causing this problem. Once everything dried out, all went back to normal.
