Default Cooling Air Pockets

Needing some help, please. I have a 2005 CTS 3.6l that I replaced the timing chains on. While apart, I also replaced, oil pump, water pump, and thermostat. Car now runs well but it must have air pockets in the cooling lines for it gets hot way to quick and I have no hot air coming out of the dash vents. I have to turn off the car before it over heats. Has anyone run into this problem? If so, how did you fix it? How were you able to remove the air pockets?

Thank you,
Mike

Fixed the problem. The water pump was getting no water to it. In order to fix it, i ran to large hose vertical from water pump and another separate one from radiator about two feet in air. Poured water into the one hose that was heading directly to the water pump. Was able to push past the air pocket by gravity fill. Took hoses off, replaced with correct one and things worked perfect.
