Blown '05 3.6L

So last year my engine had to be rebuilt from a faulty sensor in the crankshaft. Warranty ofcourse, which ends 2,000 from right now.... And my engine "blew" yesterday acording to GM. It sounding like an extremely loud and uncoordinated valve tap. So i drove straight to tge dealership a mile down the road. They call me a few hours later and say its 4qts low on oil and needs a new motor. And if i want GM warranty to pay then i have to supply my last year of reciepts in oil changes, which i have with mileage on them.

My arguement was that my oil light never came on, and there is no oil on my concrete driveway. So who knows what happened. Seems like they are trying to give me the shaft. In which case ill have no choice but to lawyer up because of the insane paper trail with this engine.

Anyone else run into warranty issues with Gm?
