2007 CTS: Rattling noise from front tires
Hi,
2007 Cadillac CTS 98,000 miles As soon as bought it, I got a "Check Engine light". It would sound rough during highway speeds. So, I had a diagnosis and the culprits were a stretched timing chain and a worn left rear-wheel bearing. The warranty covered all of it, so I had that done by Cadillac, and no more sounds came from the rear. The timing chains were also replaced and I no longer had a "Check Engine Light". The dealer did tell me that there was still some noise coming from the front tires, which are brand new. When I drive now, it makes a low-pitched rattling sound from the front tires, mainly the left. And now I have another "Check Engine Light" before I could even take it for inspection. I will pull the codes again. Has anyone here experienced this before or know what the problem is??? Please advise. |
May be there is a fault in the wheels or it not balanced perfectly so it makes the noise when you drive it.I am a mechanic by profession so i think its the issue because its very common in the cars.
