2006 CTS Front End Rattle

Hi, I have a 2006 CTS with 30,000 miles and I can hear a slight rattle noise when I go over slight bumps or even on on flat surfaces. I can also feel it in the gas pedal when these noises happen. It is very slight but it is there and it seems to be coming from the front wheels. Do you think this can be something dangerous orshould I not worry about it. Is it worth the hassle of bringing it in to the Cadillac dealership so that they can tell me it is nothing or should I have them take a look? Thanks for your help!

RE: 2006 CTS Front End Rattle

I have the same problem with my 2005 Cadillac. My brother had the same problem with a different vehicle and it turned out to be the shock absorbers!!! I wonder if warranty will cover it.

Thanks for your reply. I am going to call the dealership and ask them to take a look at this and see if it is covered. I plan on trading it in next summer for a 2009 CTS so if it is not covered by the warranty I may just live with the rattle for a while.
