2004 CTS iPod Adapter
 

is there any way to hook up an iPod in an '04 CTS WITHOUT buying the digital radio tuner that plugs into the lighter space? and also, if i bought a digital radio adapter, would it work?

this is a digital interface taht you can install your self, it's so easy, just need to read the instructions and you will have for input channel a RCA plugs, then, you need tu buy the cable to convert RCA to 3.5mm headphone jack. But you need ti check first you OEM radio type, for example, if your cadillac is loaded with the standard audio system, BOSE system or SUPERNAV system.

mine has the standard. no nav or bose. i bought a digital tuner that transmits a radio signal into the car so i'll try that. you plug it into the lighter in the ashtray area.

you can check this, I supouse that you have for minimium OnStar module, because this kind of intefaces uses the OnStar module for input the audio on your audio system
