2003 CTS Base Model Questions Before Buying

I am a junior in college and have came across a 2003 CTS with 180,000 miles on it. The pictures make the inside and out look to be in pristine condition. The transmission has been recently rebuilt. I called the guy and the only thing was it has a spider line crack in the windshield. He said it runs so quiet you can't hear it run.

I'm going to test drive it Monday. A body shop owns it. They are selling a few vehicles, I don't know if they did work or not. He didn't act like they had touched it.

It is apparently a one owner vehicle. I know the 03 model has it's problems but since it's made it to 180k and is one owner I feel like it is a solid car and has been taken care of.

I'm just wanting to know if there are specific things I should look for when I look at it. What is the reliability of this year? Any opinions or concerns is appreciated.

Also, how much is regular maintence for these vehicles? I assume slightly more expensive because it's a Cadillac. I can change oil myself. I just didn't want to buy it and find out it is a very expensive car to own.

Thanks for ANY information guys and gals. It's appreciated.

Also, does that year require premium gas?

It should run on regular, maintenance records are always good, pre purchase inspection at dealer or reputable shop is also helpful. Its a 11year old car there will be an element of risk.
