07 Navigation System

There are three menu items I am trying to distinguish from each other. One is "Store Point" which I believe stores your present location. One is "Stored Points" and the other is "Trip Points". Those last two have me confused. What is the difference between the two and how are they used? When I asked GM they referred me to the manual which is not all that clear. Any help out there?

RE: 07 Navigation System

I finally brought in my manual...

Store Points does store the current location - as you indicated. You can store up to 60 Points. To get to these 60 Stored Points... use "Stored Points". So - my interpretation: where you are NOW... or where you were when you stored that point.

Trip Points allows you to enter where you want to go - either one or more destinations (up to 10 "waypoints" per trip). So - again my interpretation: where you want to go in the future. You can also reuse stored Trips...

I don't use either of these - I generally use the "Address", "Last 10" or POI methods...
