'07 cts electrical issues.

The seat now randomly rearranges itself into what ever position if decides at any random moment & this is scary being my mom is very short & also drives this car & it started moving all the way back & she had no control of it & she could not reach the pedals after it did this!

& currently at the same time this started, it also started moving the mirrors randomly!

I'll adjust them after they've moved & then later realized they moved to who knows where & for why?

I was thinking maybe just pull the fuse for the mirrors, yet not sure what & if there is a fuse for just these two issues?

Is this a common issue?

I'd hate for my mom to crash if the seat does this again while she is driving it.

Car has memory seat and mirror functions, If you have owners manual; you will find information looking in index for seat and DIC personalization. If it's still unclear; go by local Cadillac dealer. Someone should be able to assist you about how some features work. I would think if dealer is not busy there would be no charges, but be receptive of services they offer. While you are there check for and recalls or other warranty concerns that maybe needed. There are NO recalls or special policies related to seats at this time.

Strange thing is yes the seats sorta make sense with the memory but the mirrors do not?

it's all how personalization is set up. There were many times, I wished there was a switch so it all could be turned off. Many times simplicity is good.

Might there be an on line owners manual?

It wasn't a link I referred you to owners manual. and also dealer for instruction on operation. You could also check for open recalls and possible special policies that apply to car while you are there. Not everything can be copied and pasted.
