HUD Question

2016 CT6 Heads Up Display works well, but I have one question. On the left hand side of the display is a curved bar with a pointer, that I have yet seen move. This is directly below the lane keeper display, cruise control display and vehicle detected ahead display. When you engage cruise control, the speed it is set at appears right below this bar and above rpm display. I have looked everywhere and have found nothing about this curved bar. Does anyone know? They didn't know at dealership.

Looked at mine yesterday. That symbol on the HUD will show anytime your cruise control is activated (turned on), whether it is engaged or not. It will mimic the cruise control set indicator on the speedometer. When turned on and not engaged, the speedometer cruise indicator is shown, but greyed out. When activated, speedo one will show in color and the HUD one will show the set speed below the symbol.
To make both go away, just turn off the cruise control.
