Gen II wireless charger upgrade

Has anyone upgraded the Wireless Charger in their CT6 to the new Gen II charger for iPhone compatibility yet?

I just ordered the Gen II module and am trying to ascertain how much difficulty I will have in the change out process. Want to have everything I may need when I begin the process.

Well, I got the Gen II module in the mail the other day and just changed it out. Took about 45 minutes. Not bad at all except jockeying the seats back and forth to gain access to everything was a PITA..

HIGHLY SUGGEST to have the plastic trim tools to do it without messing something up.
Also need T10, T15 and T20 torx bits to remove all the screws.

Steps are:
1. Remove the rear Heat/AC controls bezel, which was hardest part of the whole job. It's tight, but pops off with the trim tools without any damage..
2. Pop open both the center console side panels, starting at the rear. No need to remove, just pop loose to the front of the console storage box.
3. Remove the leather trim from the driver's side of the console
4. Remove the 3 left side and 2 right side screws holding down the storage box onto the center console. (I used torx bits on my 1/4" ratchet, as the passenger's side is awkward to access.)
5. Lift out the storage box and roll over. No need to disconnect the wiring harness to the USB ports in the storage box. (Easier to do from passenger's seat)
6. Remove the screws from the wireless charger module (2 different style screws)
7. Remove module and unplug harness
8. Install new Gen II module, black plastic side up and harness connection to the rear, and plug in new adapter harness that comes with it.
9. Reverse steps to put it all the panels back together again.

Plunked in my Galaxy S7 and after about 3 seconds, it started charging and the green electric bolt shows up on the screen on the phone icon.
