Owner of a new Coupe Deville
 

Hello! I just recently Purchased a 1965 Cadillac Coupe Deville 2 door on top of my 1976 F100 project. It has sat for 10 years and it cranked up and ran after I changed the plugs. It spits and sputters and smokes alot out the exhaust (or what's left) and there is alot of rust in the rockers and quarters, but I'm sure some sheet metal can fix it. It is dent free. I purchased it for only $300 bucks with no title.

I want to restore the car back to factory condition. I dont know what motor it's got and I dont k ow what's wrong with it. Could yall please help me out guys? Thanks! -Paul

So from what I've gathered it's a cadillac 429 with a 4 bbl and a 3 speed auto.

So the car cranks but it spits and sputters and it shoots a lot of black and blue smoke. And if I floor it it will idle for 10 seconds and real rough and just die. Any suggestions?
