Need Help
Hey everyone, I just recently bought a 76 DEville and it has been bogging down and backfiring when I push on the gas, if I continue to push on the gas it will bog down and cut out, I was thinking it had something to do with the fuel filter or pump. Any ideas?

RE: Need Help
Do you have the 350 or the 500, four brl or EFI ??? Some things to look at are cracks or bad fitting vac advance lines to the distributor, timing out of wack, check for cracked distributor cap, bad plugs, shorting plugs wires, EGR valve function or carbon build up. Get back to us if none of these seem to be you problem.
