66 custom coup de ville--moon roof help
 

Hello everybody, my name is Adam and i am new to this forum. I recently purchased a '66 Coup De Ville and i am in the process of fixing all the Mickey Mouse half hearted craftmanship on this custom project. I have recently gutted the interior and dyno matted whole car, scrapped old air ride system and upgraded to Accuair E-level ride(not fully installed yet), installed a dual battery set up and almost done repairing any electrical wiring issues.... I have a moonroof and though it works, it does NOT work seamlessly---- meaning, it seams to go past its "stopping" points and does not exactly sit level when you close it.. Maybe it needs rebuilding or maybe i can just upgrade to a newer moonroof altogether? I was told it came out of a '70ish Eldorado. The moonroof is a cool addition to the car, but I need it to work properly! Does anybody have any experience with moonroofs-rebuilding or replacing with newer model??? suggestions??? recommendations??? Thanku for your help...
