I know why its rare and expensive! Its because its the only 4X4 Allante made. look at the options he has its 4 wheel drive:confused:. I think he wants what he paid for back in 93' plus more since its RARE! But you got to be nice since he cut the price in half thats almost a steal. ROTFL

Stealth 05-13-2009 08:27 AM

hey guys, that is a steal, specially when the owners states "DON'T NEED TO SELL.".

I only want $40,000 for my '92, the best year of the fleet.
anyone interested?

I'll take 2 since I am Allante-less!!!

My guy in West Chester has dropped his price for the 1988 to $2,900 with the hard top. I may buy just to have :)

if the car is w/o issues, clean carfax & title, 75+% thread tires, and decent (not mint) paint, hard top, $2,500 be a fair offer.
But I would pay double that for a '92 in same condition and NO hard top.

IMHO that is...

Ah those Philadelphia guys. (Probably a Phillies and Eagles fan). Tony you have a car for sale here but it sure isn't "selling for" those kids of $. (missed the end , did it sell?)

How's the hunt with all of that money burning a hole in your pocket?

Well as you know mine sold...still looking. My guy in West Chester sold his to a guy from MD. As for me...still looking. Lots on Ebay that have low mileage and the "best" year as Stealth points out. Too rich for my blood. I did have one guy contact me in regards to a Chrysler TC - made by Maserati. Interesting to say the least.

How's the parts car finishing out?

do a self financing scheme like Bill did.

Buy a $2,000 car, part it for $6,000 and then take the money and buy a '92.

After seeing how Bill did it, I ask myself why I didnt do that myself.

Actually a $3000 car that was never intented to to be parted out. It was intended to be my Pearl White baby. Parts brought $6198.76 ( but who's counting). Still have hood, trunk lid, window glass-bothsides, phase 2 seats, steering column with airbag, passenger window regulator, brake pump and some electronic modules.

Delivering a fender today 175 miles for a lunch and beers (for an Allante friend) instead of paying freight. ( Yes a front fender does fit in an Allante trunk-pass thru down)

New ABS, wires, plugs etc for the '89-- $1200
wood for deck $1100
hardwood for my cave and wife's foyer $1000
Appreciative wife who says will never say another word about toy cars---beyond priceless.

Also have come to the conclusion that wife's request for only 2 toy cars is the right answer at this stage of my life. ( only one Allante-Pearl white hunt can be a long term project)

Stealth this 62 year old body doesn't even want to think of doing this again (God bless Dick Hussey and keep him well) even though I just was offered a parts car for $1350 less than 5 miles from home. Tony get going and puhleese stay away from Chrysler beast.
