89 Allante won't start when hot
 
But it starts when cooled off , it won't even crank only clicks like it still in gear !! Any suggestion ?? I'm lost

Only a guess but maybe the starter is going bad. My logic being that a hot motor is harder to turn over. If it's border-line bad it might be that extra friction that it can't push.

additionally, i would make sure the battery has a FULL charge and clean the contacts (both at the battery behind the seat AND under the hood, specially the GROUND terminal on the STRUT TOWER) as the starter may not be getting enough current ...
