The NSS is on the top of the trans, under where the shifter cable attaches. Remove the 15mm(or 13mm. depending on who worked on it last) nut from the shaft, and remove the shifter lever/cable. There are two 13mm bolts that hold the NSS to the trans. Remove the two bolts, unplug the NSS connector, and pull the NSS up off of the shaft. Installation is just a reverse procedure. You will notice that the shaft, and the NSS have flats on them. These flats need to be lined up properly before the NSS will fit back onto the shaft.
Be SURE to have the parking brake set, or the wheels otherwise blocked to prevent the vehicle from moving IF you accidentally move the shift linkage, and the trans comes out of Park....
