2000 Eldorado seems to slip

Hi:

I have a 2000 Eldorado that at low speeds under light acceleration feels like it is going from low gear through neutral on it's way to second gear. The car has 143K on it (last 60K by me) and I have never had anything done to the transmission. The delay is no more than a second. What do you suggest? Do you think it would help or hurt to change the fluid and filter at this point? Also read some threads talking about the TCC solenoid. Any possibilities there?

Thanks

maybe, but it could also be the clutch plates.

add a bottle of Lucas, drive it easy for a couple of days, then change the fluid and filter adding two bottles of LUCAS .. do not overfill .. drive it easy for a couple of days, then back to normal driving.

cross your fingers that its fine after that.
the Lucas is amazing at times but it cant fix everything.
