Dextron III is fine.

You should use DEXRON (R)-VI it is fully back servicable to your application. If you have not changed the fluid for a while I would suggest that you drain and fill again after two or three thousand miles. Just one more word of warning, when you purhase the fluid make sure that it is a real licenced product. It should have a licence number somewhere on the label or packaging (like J-xxxxx). Hope that helps.

thanks everyone, I quickly found it on google after trying a few differen't search combos. I'm replacing the radiator which is why I'm replacing the fluid, it was actually replaced a month ago when I replaced the alternator. found traces of atf in the coolant then, after replacing alt and putting radiator back in it got a lot worse, also replacing front hub and bearings :/ abs/traction acting up then disables @ 25 lol.

DEXRON-III does not exist! All of those lincences were cancelled at the end of 2005. The only valid, licenced and approved products are the ones listed as DEXRON(R)-VI
