Northstar Savvy Technician In Atlanta ?
Hi all,
I'm looking for someone in the ATL area who can help a friend. She has a 93 Eldorado Sport, Northstar powered, and it seems she's the victim of a "technician" who diagnosed a bad water pump, but seemed to have left carnage under the hood. Here's some basic details: 175k miles Car "ran hot" and she was told she needed a water pump. Starts, runs fine AC suddenly quit yesterday. Couldn't pull codes ( maybe I did it wrong , I'm a Cadnewbie ) Here's the !?!!!#@ part: I looked under the hood, the radiator cap was missing ( what rating should i get ?), and the coolant would pour out as fast as I could put it in ! There was a radiator hose ( lower ? ) just lying in front of the radiator, disconnected. The upper hose ran directly in front and over the front of the valve cover- is this where it's supposed to be ? Any advice would be appreciated. First step is to get her to a trustworthy guy who can properly diagnose the issues. Thanks !! Bill |
