Default '90 Eldorado starting problem

I have a really nice '90 Eldorado. I'm the second owner and have driven the last 7000 of its 42000 miles in smooth, reliable, trouble-free comfort. This morning however, it wouldn't start. It has been a little hesitant to start for a few days now, ever since I replaced the windshield washer fluid jug. During the swap, about a quarter of a jug full of washer fluid drained down as I started filling it before remembering to re-attach the little rubber hose. (DUH!!)I don't know how or if this has anything to do with the problem, but the problem did start immediately after replacing the fluid jug. I drove the car a couple of hundred miles with the new washer jug, washers working fine, and it drove perfectly, as usual. It also started immediately yesterday morning. (Thursday) Tuesday and Wednesday morning, it had to be cranked a few times at 4-6 second intervals before it would start. Then it ran perfectly. Today nothing. I'm wondering about fuel pump or fuel injectors but I thought I'd post my sad story and maybe get some insight. The battery is strong and the starter cranks fine but it just won't start up.
The car is in fantastic shape and I'm pretty confident it's not too serious. Any replies and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this forum and very happy to have found it.

Having a very similar problem with my 1992 Allante. Put a new starter in it and it was starting fine until it slowly started taking longer and longer to start up requiring me to hold the ignition for 10 sec intervals anywhere from 10-20 times (literally takes minutes just to start). Recently got a fault message on the DIC and now its totally dead

Both of you need to check for spark first thing. If you have spark then it will most likely be a fuel problem such as a bad pump. You can buy a spark checker at your local parts store for about 10 bucks.
