I will agree, that is just one big disappointment.

That's the best they could do and it's still 4 years out. GM should be able to smell Toyoto right behind them.

ORIGINAL: CadillacGirly what do you think about the XLR? Contraversial at best. it is considered the modern Allante with a new name. The real problem is, the Allante crowd thinks in terms of collectibles, which IMHO, cars rarely become. AS any car, it did suffer from bugs at its onset, but as of lately, i dont hear of ongoing bugs any more on the newer models. It is a car, it is a Cadillac, and IMHO, it is one hell of a hot car. I see lots of them in the LA area, they are selling here. I stop at the dealer now and then, and the XLR's cars in the show room move as well as others. In my town, there are at least 7 or 8 of them, but only two Allantes (one is mine). me for one, love the car, specially the XLR-V - the interior is CLEAN and UNCLUTTERED, gone are the dozens of knobs, the airplane cockpit look. It is definably a nice car. The care takes you there in style. This is one of those that "returns the favor". Read/watch the clips in the 2nd post here: http://www.cadillacforum.com/m_11905/tm.htm
