So until I get the cameras installed, I did cancel the feature. Very easy. Press INFO& RESET at once on the DIC, then the various features appear, press INFO/SKIP (in gold on my car) until you get to REV TILT then press RESET/NO (in gold on my car). That's it, done.

I came to this thread b/c i wanted to find out how to make my mirror tilt in reverse. After reading about this "creepage" however, i think i'll leave the function disabled! I can get to the message on the dash that asks whether you want the mirror tilt. I press the yes button (whichever 1 that is) but the mirror NEVER tilts. I'm just a little frustrated b/c the mirror does, in fact work; it just will not tilt in reverse.

i have had a simular situation..... here is what i did..don't know if it will work for you..... adjust the mirror from the switch the opposite way from where it goes, that is wrong......... take it to the max, and let it click 4 or 5 times... that has worked for mine......but you have heard of e-ghosts from this site? my 99 is the c-ghosts, (car)..... :-) check it out, just maybe it will work. by the way, nice looking ride. good luck!
