i thought  we could have some fun here ..

this is a very real question for a FWD cadi
make your choices ....

i will forward the survey to the owner.

quote:

The front rims on my 91'  cadi get so hot when i drive in town that they melt the rubber on the tires.
I thought my brakes must be dragging but my mechanic says there is nothing wrong with the brakes.

My guess is it must be the driver, worn brake pads and rides them hard and must live in Texas.

The cool way would be parking brake on, traction control off,car in drive, pedal on floor and engine on rev limiter.Nots so cool caliper stuck applied(bad caliper or brake hose), realizing brake pedal is not a foot rest, missing caliper bolt causes caliper to fall in to wheel stopping it right now, wheel bearing seizing at speed. I would perfer cool way, over the surprise.
