let us not forget .. the Allante was marketed specifically for a very special market .. WOMEN.
Specifically, WOMEN with a need to get to the tennis court, the hair saloon, the shoe store,
the golf course, the yacht.

you think i'm kidding?  look at all the adds put out by Cadillac, regarding the Allante,  when they
were in production, read the brochures.  The interior was designed specifically for WOMEN.
Even the Recaros were "smaller" and the seat curves and angles built  to allow comfort in
driving with stilletos or sports shoes.

Another big ticket American car that was in the same market?  The Lincoln MK VII.

By the mid-80's, that slogan was forgotten.

People who get offended easily should lay off of our off-topic.  Other then a personal attack just about everything  goes here.  Unlike other sites we are adults here and can self moderate ourselves. So don't worry, no one is upset.

"When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?-Cadillac"

for the new CTS
