dgd1956 -> 1984 eldorado tranny downshift problem (5/29/2007 11:00:05 AM)
The tranny has 134k mi on it It has an ever increasing problem downshifting. Does this mean the tranny is going out- or is there something less costly that will take care of the problem. Your replies are greatly appreciated.
What kind of problem. Mine was the TCC solenoid. Look under your car and disconnect the wiring harness that goes into your tranny if you one. If that does the trick than you have a bad TCC.
