humming noise in 1997 deville - 12/21/2005 10:56:46 PM    1997caddy   Posts: 7 Joined: 12/21/2005 Status: offline I hear a humming noise coming from the rear of car when i first start it. The humming noise only lasts around 5- 10 seconds and then goes away after the car is warmed up and/or I start driving it. What is this noise? Is it serious? Does the car have an automatic leveling option on it and this is what is happening? I read somewhere it could be the fuel pump and that there is one in the rear of the car. Any help would appreciate it! Thanks! Post #: 1

The same thing happened when I got my caddy... that noise drove me crazy until I found out what it was. It's the electric antenna.
