Hi,

New to this forum, and wanted to post in reply to the previous post about the EXT. I have an 04 EXT, in the Red E color (Burgandy) and I love this car. It's a bit heavy in curb weight (5960 lbs) but it's a truck...what do you expect? The interior is great and having the functionality as a pickup truck fit's my needs perfectly. It's no sports car, but it can pickup and go. I get plenty of compliments, especially for it's color. I have dealer installed 22" wheels, so they do kick up debris onto the quarter panels, but it's not terrible. It's a large truck, and barely fits in the garage. These EXT's have just about every option you'll need in a vehicle...except I wish it had a ventilated seat system for cooling (but it does have heated seats). Hope that helps!

I have a Z06 Corvette. Had the Viper for a short time. Needed practicality ...and more garage space.

Hey Vetteviper guy - how do those 22's do on the highway, about 70- 80 mph? I have 22's on my EXT and I get a wiggle at that speed.

I don't sense any wiggle at freeway speeds. It rides just fine, comparable to the ride quality of a car. It'll "wiggle" when you're driving on rutted roads because the tires are so wide, but that'll happen on my other car too.

Ever take the wheel off on your EXT? These wheels are friggin' heavy...too much added rotational inertia...robs power output to the wheels!
