i have a 98 deville, had it for about 9 months now. never had any problems till yesterday... does anyone know what to do about, theft system problem, car may not restart, then the servie airbag light comes on , then the traction control light comes on, and the digital diplay just has line where the numbers are supposed to be for the ac,miles per gallon, and remaining fuel........oh and the ac comes on and i cant turn it off.... has anyone had this problem? if so please help oh and it doesnt do it all the time after about 10-15 min of driving it comes on all at once, the everything goes back to normal after about 15 min. then it just goes back and forth, thanks in advance for the help

problem solved it was the battery not putting out enough voltage,

Excellent resolution, do you know what voltage it was putting out? I see my car generally between 13.2 and 14.7 volts and all system are go.

ok back again, it was just a tep. fix, because its doing it again! damn it! i even went and had a new key made too, at the dealer so 48 dollars later.......and nope, nothing different. my voltage is around 13.5-14.5 so im open to any and all suggestions......... i think im ready to give up on the cadi's!!lol

Dealer said key just like I did , dealer said battery and that all worked for a while. Try disconnecting the battery again. It could be a flaky computer however.

go through your fuses there up front and in the trunk where the back of the rear seats are

OK HOW BOUT THIS, PROBLEM SOLVED... ITS GONE GOT RID OF IT, BUT I DECIDED TO STAY WITH THE CADI'S NOW I GOT A 2007 CTS. SO I SHOULDENT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS FOR A WHILE.... THANKS FOR ALL THE INPUT
