l306x -> 95 sts tranny not shift (5/12/2007 6:20:40 PM)
ok i have a 95 sts that will not shift out of 2ed gear. at first it would not shift into 4th now it will not go into 3ed ..... 1st to 2ed is fine just no 3 or 4 HELP 30mph max is no fun
Broken shift solenoids are very common for that year. GM has a revised kit to resolve the issue. Still a bit of a job as the lower valvebody and channel plate must be removed and disassembled.
