First off, let me apologize for asking a dumb question. This is my husband's car. He's out of town and not easy to reach. I got in our 1999 STS this morning and it started, then I noticed there are no panel lights, windows don't work, no AC, no electrical inside. Headlights work. I turned it off and on a couple of times, but still no panel. I'm hesitating taking it to the dealer to have them work on it cuz of the $$$. I'd like to sort of know what it might be before I take it there and they try to confuse me.

Make sure the ignition switch is in the run position. Wiggle the key between start and off and watch to see if the panel lights come on. You might have someone disconnect the battery for 20 seconds or so, to reset all the modules. Make sure you write down the presets for the radio, so hubby won't throw a cow. Then start going through all the fuses. In your owners manuel it will help you with this. Good Luck
