Have a 93 Seville w/88,000mis. on it, thought I'd put synthetic oil in motor(northstar) and more importantly in auto. trans. that Redline makes. Has anybody done this? Is it OK? Thanks, Jim

If you feel like spending 4 times as much for fluids I say go ahead. I have seen some impressive #'s comparing several different synthetic and non synthetic oils. The synthetic's such as mobil 1 withstand much more stress and heat while keeping its lubricating properties. Although I don't know about you but my Caddy is a daily driver and by no means do I put it under any undo stress. I feel like its a bit of a waste to use synthetis in it since I change the oil as scheduled and never put it through any stressful conditions where the synthetic would be ideal. Theres my 2 cents
