has anybody had a problem with the switch only working BOTH front windows and rear windows from the left side master and both windows operate in unison? (front or rear), and no other window switches work, except the driver master on left side, this applies to the mirror switch also, operates both mirrors in unison???

yeah my 06 started doing that one night and I punched the **** out of it and it has been working perfect ever since, lol this probably doesn't help you, there maybe a factory defect, they may have crossed the wires, or your electrical connections coul be dirty and causing it to short out sometimes.

to all that was miffed by this, I had the front brakes replaced and the rotors machined while on the car at my Car dealership I work for, the Tech left the key on for the 3 hrs while he machined my rotors, and required a jump, so my suspicion got the better of me and i disconneted the battery entirely .. let it sit for 20 min and reconnected .... everything is fine, all switches in working order ... thanks, weird , huh

My 2003 CTS did the same thing with the windows... the dealer said they don't know why it happens - but it does occasionally -- and the "fix" is to "reboot the car". I watched him do it. Disconnect the + and - battery leads from the battery; tough the leads together to clear the power from the system; reconnect the appropriate leads to the battery. Apparently there are other electrical symptoms that can be fixed using this same method, but he didn't elaborate on what those symtoms are... Bill

nice to hear im not the only one to get this, it would probably fix the clock syncronization, some people talk about how they can't get the clocks to be the same time

That is interesting - yes - I had that issue as well and it seems to be working now. Whether that was related to the "rebooting", though, I'm not too sure. I guess the timeframe is about right. Basically, the analog clock on the dash used to be about 8 minutes behind the clock setting on the Nav system which was set to GPS time. And now, the analog clock on the dash and the Nav system clock match.
