I am in dire need of some help with a 1986 4.1 engine that I transplanted into a Fiero. I moved the ECM and the engine into this location. I have the spark working and fuel pump as well, but I dont get the injectors to fire. They each have good fuses and are getting 12V+ to them, but the switched neg- is not getting to them. Does anyone know what happens inside of the ECM? What needs to happen to make this work? Maybe I am just missing a sensor. I just cant figure it out. Please help. Thank you. I also have swapped the ECM and that did not fix it.

Stardog:: A few things to check out. Make sure the ECM ground and the engine ground are both good. Check the speed sensor connection at the distributor, you should have 10.5 lbs. fuel pressure at the injectors, does the car you put this engine into have the fuel pump relay?? Was the map sensor working fine?? The distributor sends a reference pulse for injector timing so all distributor connections should be investigated. Good luck.
