Short answer is not without a lot of trouble. Your car is front wheel drive with a tranverse Cadillac engine and automatic transaxle. The LT1 is used in rear wheel drive applications with a conventional 4 speed automatic transmission. Apples and oranges.

Have a look at a late model Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS ,Grand Prix GXP or Buick Allure ( I think Lacrosse in USA) with the 5.3 V8. That will be a similar set up. I have no idea on your skills so you might be able to pull it off. If you can it will be heck of a fast Caddy.

I mean the late model SS Impalas 2006 to 2008, they have V8 in sideways which is how you need to do it in a Seville. A GM dealer near me has a 1995 Impala SS for sale, near mint condition $16,500. They are gutsy. If you like them look for a used Impala with police equipment, 9C1 option code. Just the same as an SS drivetrain.

Forget about it unless you are wealthy and have unlimited time and access to a full service fabrication and mechanical shop. You''''d be better off getting a late model 5.3 litre set up from a write off  Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS, Grand Prix GXP or Buick Allure GSX. The 5.3 has 303 HP which is way more than the LT 1 anyway. You''''d still be into a lot of fab work. BUT I like the idea.

You will find your tail light on eBay.

As far as old cars for the engine swap. There is no manual for doing something no one in the world has done before so you are going to have to do the research and find out. You are proabably more likely to find a wrecked 2006, but how common are those V8 cars. I hope you are very weathly. They make them here in Canada just 30 miles east of me and it is rare to see one here. Good luck.
