I noticed my Fuel Gauge Revving 2 to 3 times since I bought my 2001 ETC. Usually when fuel is below 1/4 tank(rarely). Ten minutes ago, it happened again, so I drew codes. The only current one is PZMB0533 (Current)
I had one history code that I didn`t memorize, but the gauge was still moving while I was reading the codes.
It goes from almost 1/8 tank to pegged full, back to 1/8, to 1/2, to 0, to full... fast.
I cracked the gas cap thinking it was pressure/vaccuum. No change.
No running difference noticable. I was thinking it was part of my 2x intermittent radio "no go" prob, but radio works fine during gas gauge "revs".
Also during, I toggled DIC to mileage range. It spanned 0 mi. to 460 mi. (approx)
Note that first time was morning after a car wash, tonight it rained when I was at work.
WTF? Please tell me it`s not another $800. (Or more)
